so pretty much what the title says , when my hid's flicker they make my car bog to the point of nothing working or it just bogs and then stalls my car. has anyone ever had this issue at all with their lancer or any car , or know of anyone with this issue and what it is? yes i know if i switch my drl's to my fogs it wont flicker and wont stall my car , but that still doesent help solve the problem as to why its doing this

I run my car with the HID's on BUT if they are turned off and I flick them on with my car on it will stall. Not sure why but it might be my fuse tap for my footwell LED's they are linked with the lights. I'll remove the LED's and report back.

Well I Would Try And put Back your Normal Lights And see If Your Car Still Stalls

If Not Try And Remove Your Piggy ECU Or Timming Module And Then Try

Yeah I was saying to put them back just to make sure its not something that you did when the lights went in . i know it did not do it before but putting the old ones back in and just test to see if it stalls... if it does not stall then it just maybe the set up of the light or the light conflicing with your piggy ecu or timing module.

and If you do all that and it still stalls then i would have your alternator and your battery checked

HIDs are supposed to consume less power than halogen bulbs.

and if i was runnin the stock pulley i'm sure it'd be fine. but the 2 combined... hid's and the smaller pulley...are the reasons it drops soo much for me. smaller pulley=alternator turning slower

Once you're driving the RPMs should be high enough to keep the battery fully charged, even with the UDP. Even at idle, if there is a lot of load the voltage regulator will bump up your idle a bit to compensate. This can be seen if you turn on the rear defroster or put your fan on max.
