Modified Magazine Feature
Hey everyone, I have been really busy and didn't get a chance to share this here but I'm sure most of you already heard, saw through Facebook. My car was featured in Modified Magazine October 2012 issue, and I hadn't had the chance to share it with you all here. It was a great achievement for me personally especially since I set out to build a street car on my own not something these magazines usually feature. A key difference was the car didn't have crazy HP or full traditional type body kit etc, I built it my own way for a reason and got acknowledged for it. The article itself does a great job telling the story so I won't ruin it too much for you all here.
Best of all for those that know me, know that this car isn't sponsored by anyone, built all by myself in my garage with the exception of fender rolling and some paint work which was outsourced for obvious reasons.
A little back ground to how it happened... my youngest brother one day somehow with one of his pictures ended up in communication with the editor of Modified, Peter Tarach, late last year of possibly really early this year. The magazine was immediately interested in the vehicle and inquired further where as then I was copied in on the emails. One thing led to another and well here it is. Being that it was winter, all be it a mild one we decided to hold off the photo shoot till the weather got better, which in return allowed me time to redo my entire interior and few other goodies. Once spring started to near the photo shoot was done around April/May and interview for the article performed around July. The car was pretty much apart all winter and tucked away to prevent any unfortunate mishap before the shoot. After the shoot it was pretty much most enjoyed in Canada when I was up there with you all. The hardest part was keeping all this a surprise and under wraps.
Around my area there are two other EVO's of my generation and both of close friends, white one being another one I practically built, and constantly rebuild. Needless to say I have finally joined the magazine feature club along with them. Only down side was there was a special thanks paragraph I had written with shout outs to many of my friends, family etc and one of which being TTS however there was an error and the magazine forgot to print it, once I had seen the article after it was written and by the time I contacted the editors it was too late, the magazine was in print.
Check out the feature for yourself, enjoy and see you all soon!

LoL I didn't know about the CSCS flyer... can someone get me some. Also Modified is available here at Barnes and Nobles which I believe you guys have there as Chapters. If you guys can't find them let me know, I will get some copies here and mail them to you all if I can. My sister in laws are still having a hard time as well.
