Rim repair in GTA?

Anyone know any good places to get rims repaired in the GTA?

I feel like an idiot but it just curbed one of my rear rims. The damage isn't to bad but it needs to be fixed.

I sent an email to Curbed (curbed.ca) but I'd like to know at least one other place to compare quotes.

are we talkin scraping-the-side-of-the-wheel curbing or driving-over-the-curb-and-bending-the-rim curbing?

If its the former, your wheels are powdercoated right? If the damage isnt too bad, cant you just get them coated again?

You can probably strip it and recoat it, or just coat over the existing maybe.

I know these guys called Metal Coaters in Mississauga who did the powder coating for my buddy's car and they did a solid job, and their price was really low (a basic colour is in the low 200's), so I think it might make sense to just get them powder coated again rather than repair which takes alotta manual labour & hours so it might cost a lot more.

Hey Preston, let me know how your repair goes/costs. My roommate messed up one of his rims hitting a giant pothole. Tore the rubber, rashed the rim pretty bad. Doesnt' look like its bent. They're 19" FiveAxis S5's.
Damage: (you can see it tore the rubber on its way to the rim, you can actually flip the rubber down)

The damage isn't that noticeable, I almost forgot about it.

I'm going to see if maybe I can just get touch up paint or something.

SinSina, they are factory satin grey. I haven't powder coated them.

So my advice is going to be handy....for myself. I curbed both my right wheels HARD yesterday. I got distracted and next thing I know I grazed the sidewalk and my rims are scratched pretty badly. Its so painful seeing this happen to rims that only have ~4000kms on them. Im going to do a DIY repair for the rest of the summer and get them stripped and powder coated over the winter at Metal Coaters.

I cant believe I made such a stupid mistake.

Metal Coaters huh? I'll have to go there too. My wheels were leaning against each other and my girl decides to use one of the wheels as a foot rest while she sits back and relax. Then the wheel tipped over and starts spinning on the pavement. Scratching it to shit.

That sucks man. Give these guys a call, I've met with the owner before. His company does other stuff for metal finishing, he just does this on the side for fun which is why his prices are the lowest Im aware of.

Im already looking at which colors to get my rims done in.

Nuh, I'm going to have to pay for it cuzz basically my money is her money.

I hope its not 200 per rim

Its around 200-250 for 4 rims. Only thing is I dont know if that price includes stripping the old paint/coating off before powdercoating again.

Do let us know what it comes out to ... I'm thinking of painting my winter rims (stock rims) pink ...

will make sure to get you some pink decals for the winter to match ur pink rims
