MORE DRAMA!!!
So apparently my car is still at the repair shop, because the tow-truck driver charged $1,200.00!!! for the tow!!! and statefarm isn't willing to pay the shop for it. So the shop isn't allowing statefarm to enter their property to take the vehicle, and statefarm has to send a marshall to serve the shop a supena! I couldn't believe when my ins-broker called me and said the car is still at the shop more than a month later! They asked me info about the tow-driver, because obviously it's illegal to charge that much for that sevice. So now I have to answer all these quetions about that night, which just brings back everything i've been trying to forget. And statefarm has to sue the shop to get my/their car, I can't believe this is happening...

Re: MORE DRAMA!!!
well a couple speeding tickets... accident..... it doesn't surprise me on the price. state farm never claims to be the cheapest. I gave someone a lecture too on the phone. Guy was 20 years old had 4 tickets and 1 accident
not that i should talk... i was 18 and had 4 tickets hahaha
but all my tickets came off last year and I haven't been pulled over in over 3 years so im happy

whats the update on this bs situation?
Re: MORE DRAMA!!!
Statefarm has to take the shop to court for the car, and the funny thing is the shop called me stating state-farm told them to take me to court! So I called them and they said they never said that? And that all calls are recorded so I can listen to them if I want. So now I know I've been hearing BS all around, and statefarm is cutting me another check because they put a stop payment on my payout like I had something to do with this! Anyways they said they cleared it up and should never had placed a stop on it, "not legal" and sent out a new one. My ins also is up $40 a month! Im honestly looking into legal action to get my money from the guy that caused this...

Re: MORE DRAMA!!!
Tell me about it, that's an extra $480 a year in ins alone! Plus all the extras that went with the car, or that were damaged and couldn't be sold. Deductable alone was $500, and this insurance thing will last at leat a few years. I gotta see what my legal options are, especially since he owed me $150 for literally 3yrs+ so I can imagine how long it would take him to come with 1K+

Re: MORE DRAMA!!!
Extra $480 a yr times 5yrs = $2400
Extra $480 a yr time 7yrs = $3360
Plus $500 detuctable + Lost Rear Lip $450
TOTAL=$3350 or $4310
Then if I inclued the new brakes that I got to use for not even a month +$500
New tires 2 months old +$500
So all in all about $4350 to $5310 in losses not including "MENTAL ANGUISH"

Re: MORE DRAMA!!!
one thing to look at tho , it can only go down from here
when i got my lancer i was paying 500 , 2.5yrs later im paying 320
i figure next yr when i get my house i will get another discount cuz it will be on the same policy , plus ill be 25
then i jus gotta get married and it will go down more

I dont know about other insurance companies but w/ my company, you don't really have to be married..when you tell your broker that you're common law partners, boom, we put it down as married = discount right away.
but imma say, please dont go with my company...they have a fucking high rate!
i'm not even with them!
