Insurance Pre-Inspection

Hey guys, need some advice - just bought a project car, and got "temporary insurance on it"... as in, they're gunna have it inspected first. If it has too many modifications or any unsafe items, they'll reject my insurance.

Any tips on where I can go, or what I can do?

The car has an aftermarket tuning module attached to the MAF sensor (MAF Translator) <- that is what I'm worried about the most

what kind of car is this "project car" odds are they'll call you up randomly to have it inspected throughout the year. They did it to my brothers heavily modified civic and they always passed it ...All depends on how you bend the truth. Most of the people that inspect the cars are CLUELESS so unless you have a GIANT spoiler hanging off it you should be alright.

oh okay - its a 1991 Eagle talon TSI (got it off one of the guys on our forum)

i had one of these "inspections" back with my 1995 rx-7. they had a shop they asked me to go for inspection.

lmao. all they did was look at the car, take pics of the exterior and that was it. didnt even ask me to pop the hood or anything.

lool, i need to know what shop this is xD - fingers crossed I have the same luck
