3000K HID fogs...waste?

im pickin up a set of 3000K HIDs for my fog lights soon, but before i do i wanna make sure it wont be a waste of money... any input on this would be greatly appreciated!! also if anyone has some pics...

as long as your fogs actually make a diff when you turn em on, then its def worth it! if the beam is shitty and you cant really seea diff when you turn your fogs on....wste of money. unless u just goin for looks. ;)

my fogs are yellow now, piaa plasma ion yellows...and when i first got them they were great! almost brighter than my headlights! i was super impressed. but lately i've noticed them not being as bright anymore... so i'm thinkin hids
