New To TTS

Hey everyone. Just popped over here from C7. I Like the forum, seems like a bunch of pretty cool folks. I'm still prepping my car, got a few things left to do with it but its almost done. I had it out to two events near the end of last year which was pretty cool. Hoping to get to a Lot more this year!

Would have loved to get this up to the PW show but I found out about that too late :( Its cool though as I still have a few things to finish on it...Next year I hope to be there!!!

Yeah its surprisingly nimble. You sit scary low in it so even going slow it feels like you're flying. Its low enough I can pop the door up and touch the road without leaning hah. Only 65ish horsepower stock, but it only weighs 720kg. Pretty hard to get a feel for how small this thing is without seeing it in person. in the top picture, with the door right up like that the top of the door comes just past my nose, I'm 5'6".

It is rather rare too, only a few in Canada. I know of only one other one that is in Ontario and its in the GTA, a really nicely done yellow one.

Yep the cappo is Very close to this one. Cappo has the engine up front this one is in the back, but both rwd. Same engines too 660cc 3cyl. Well the newer cappos (95+) have the K6A not the F6A but close enough .

Yeah a little bit Only at .8 bar right now. I've had it up to 1.2. Not a alot of boost, but plenty to be noticeable and fun in this car!

Yep not much boost at all but you can tell its there. The car cost me $13k but it was in kinda rough shape. Biggest thing was the crank shaft snapped in half the week I got it....I've put 8k into it over the last year repairing the damage from that nightmare. Its pretty much done now save for some cosmetic things that can't be done soon enough. After that I'm planning to do a few updates to the ecu..mainly changing it to an adaptronic system.

I haven't seen an AZ-1 with a bike engine, but I've seen 2 cappo projects with Hayabusa motors dropped in the passengers seat. I talked with a guy in Calgary that was at one point planning to but a Mazda rotory engine in one, but instead went with dropping a Honda B16a into a Honda Beat instead hehe.

edit: 'yeah .8bar is ~11.6psi. 1.2 is about 17.4psi. Stock this engine can handle 1.5bar. After the little incident with my engine toasting I had it rebuilt by a pro shop. With the new custom built lower end I'm told it will handle 2.0bar (29psi) But I'm not gonna push it that far. Especially since I'm not planning on putting this car on a track.

i rolled in a less than usual car that would turn up to a meet. My little toyohybridpripri.
My car is a family car so not much has been done to it. Most thats been done to it is a tanabe strut bar. HAHA Anyways i roll with ZERO. nice to meet you all.
