Thanks!
My fastest lap at Cayuga was 1:25.673s
I haven't weighed the wheels without the tires, but they are supposed to be around 18lbs each. My Volks which I Daily Drive on are lighter at about 17lbs each.

Re: FarShark's R32 Skyline GT-R
Those are Co2 intercooler sprayer lines. We both have teh same thing. Uses Co2 to cool the intercooler. Bottles is in the back.

Re: FarShark's R32 Skyline GT-R
That is correct it is an intercooler spray kit, however the kit is an NOS kit. But I will be using both Nitrous and CO2, since CSCS doesnt allow the use of Nitrous in any form, I have to use CO2.

Re: FarShark's R32 Skyline GT-R
You cant beat the bang-for-buck when it comes to meth, but this is inherently safe and does not have the risks of running lean like meth does (atleast no where close to the extent that meth does).
The spray kit has been proven to provide upto 25whp.

Re: FarShark's R32 Skyline GT-R
Do you feel the effect of having a co2 sprayer kit on your intercooler?
Re: FarShark's R32 Skyline GT-R
Mild but yeah you do. Looks like No2 and cold as hell but not a sudden boost of speed. It kills the heat soak and gives you back the HP that was being soaked up when hard driving.
When used with the water sprayer works even better. The water sprays and the Co2 freezes the water which then lasts longer.

Re: FarShark's R32 Skyline GT-R
which kit are you using? Both for the co2 and the water sprayer? I know the guys running the Ferrari cup had made up an ice bath and I was thinking to make one on top of my intercooler....just not sure if I can get it in without blocking off too much of my rad!
Re: FarShark's R32 Skyline GT-R
My system is using this as this sprayer
http://www.designengineering.com/category/catalog/cryo2-system-components/cryo2-intercooler-sprayer-kit
This as a intake cooler. I have two of these one on the in and one on the out of the intercooler.

How long does a CO2 tank last you until you have to refill it?

Re: FarShark's R32 Skyline GT-R
It will obviously depend on the size of the bottle you use, unfortunately I have never hooked up my bottles so I dont know, this is something JP is going to have to answer.

Re: FarShark's R32 Skyline GT-R
You have two options for bottles. There are others. But 5-10lb are the main ones.
With a 10lb you can get approx 15-20 runs at the drag strip. 5lb about 10-15 runs. This would be using the Full Throttle switch.
If you plan on using it for TA you can do a controller like this: http://www.designengineering.com/category/catalog/cryo2-system-components/cryo2-adjustable-timer-switch
Then you can do 2 sec squirts every 10-20 sec as an example and cool the car the whole lap. Or do a big spray just before the final lap.

That sounds ok as long as it would be convenient to get it refilled locally. Would somewhere like lets say Praxair be able to refill these with co2?

Re: FarShark's R32 Skyline GT-R
CO2 would be easy to fill as long as you have the right connection you can even take it to your local paintball refill station. So for the purposes of an intercooler spray any CO2 refill station would work.
The nitrous is tougher because not everyone has a nitrous refill station and I'm not even referring to specific brands of nitrous, since it's really a preference and it's just an intercooler spray.
