Hey Folks,

So Im looking to compile a few videos using footage in different formats, jpgs music etc. I have experience using Vegas Studio and Movie Maker (once and a very long time ago).

Im looking for something simple and well rounded.

What do you guys use nowadays?

Sony Vegas 10 (what I'm using now) ... I tried Adobe Premiere Pro several years back and struggled to get the hang of it.
I have previous experience w/ iMovie (used to be a volunteer videographer for WLU Student Union)
Also gonna try playing around w/ Adobe After Effects (found a sick sight w/ free tutorials)
Curious as to what Cam is using ... his vids are sick! Very Happy

AVS.. For about $60 (goes up June 30, but always has this sale regularly) you get every product they make and unlimited updates.

Video editing capabilities are basic, simple transitions, this isn't Premiere, but like Juice I tried it to just put video together, and couldn't get it to do just that. Used this for all the videos I've come out with, made a few DVD's from VHS with a straight video file (add chapters, menus all that and set chapters with keyframes)

Never used Vegas. So, dunno.
