I was told $200 at APH ... plus an alignment somewhere else since they don't do that in-house.

That's not bad alignment is like 75-100$ unless that 200 doesn't include it Lol

yeaa thats the average price. I guess i have no choice really, if my buddy and i decide we cant do it, il just get it done for the 150 and then get an alignment somewhere else. Id love to do it myself, and people on the forums say its easy, so we'll see.
ugh im dying to get these on My new 1.8t - Page 3 284637663 lool

I even asked my mechanic and he quoted $450 for coilover install and alignment for your ride.

Yea they would fit but a fender roll is deff necessary. Might have some poke too, but I'm kinda looking for the stretch and poke look. not too much cuz overdoing it looks stupid lool. I can't wait till I get my rims though Very Happy

So i got a custom sticker done the other day, i wanted something that im 99.9999% sure nobody in Ontario has. The guy that does my stickers showed me this idea and other than his cousin that lives in England, im the only person to have it (for now) Razz Alot of VW people tend to do the whole Burrberry theme, but id rather do a Louis Vutton thing, with a bit of a difference:

My new 1.8t - Page 3 05182012

How it looks on my car (did it to both rear windows)

My new 1.8t - Page 3 05182013

Some may like, some may not, but either way i think its pretty sick and very unique Smile

Soooo got my rims on last week and LOVE them. didnt go for the bbs style, as EVERYONE seems to be riding with them, from vw's to civic's everywhere. So i went for a more euro look and picked up a set of XXR 530's, specs are 18x8.75 +25 et as oppose to the 15x6 +35 et that i was running a week ago.
Love these rims!! they're flush with the fenders, im rubbing for now, but looking to get smaller tires soon stretched so i can go lower again Smile Right now the tires are 225/40/R18, im looking to stretch 215/35's sometime soon Very Happy
anyways heres some pics, not rlly good ones because i haven't had time. in person it looks waaaay better (never been a fan of xxr's, but i love these ones Razz )

My new 1.8t - Page 3 06122011

got them powdercoated high gloss black Smile

That looks so nice! Great choice with the rims and it's nice to see something other than BBS on a vdub. I like the window sticker too. I have seen a ton of those on vdubs/Honda's but nothing with the theme you went with. Awesome for being different. Need more of that in the tuner scene.

Thumbs up from me!! Very Happy
