TTS Meet Saturday feb 2 2013

seems the masses like the idea of a bowling meet , so here we go . Saturday feb 2 2013 will be our first meet of the year .

Time is still tba and will be in the evening some time , and location is still up for discussion so any inputs on places please lets hear them

A couple places I go to:

All-Star bowl at Eglinton Ave and Danforth Road,

I suggest club 300, love going there and the place is huge so usually easy to get lanes. Saturday night is glow bowl to top it all off.

It is in the kennedy and steeles area for those who don't know.

Okay well i did some research on 10 pin bowling lanes in the area. I have emailed them all to find out if we can get some group deals or reserve some lanes. This way we can pick the best option.

Club 300
Kennedy and Steeles area
Open Bowling starts at 8pm on saturdays (leagues beforehand)
Cosmic Bowling on Saturday Nights
$33 per hour/per lane with 6 people per lane (5.50 per person + tax per hour)
$3.25 shoe rental

Playtime Bowl
Yorkdale Mall Area
5pm - 9pm is $29.99 per hour/per lane and $34.99 after 9pm
6 per lane so $5 per hour or $5.83 per hour per person

If anyone has any other places they have been at and like please let me know. Personally i think the best 2 choices would be Club 300 or PlayTime bowl. Both close to highways to make it easy for all to get too. Both facilities also have food and bars.

Oh and club 300 is open 24/7
playtime is open till 3am
and all star open till 2am

im down for club 300, just means korean BBQ before hand hahaha

Okay so I got a deal for playtime bowl but it would have to be a reservation and with everyone giving maybe's it won't be doable. With that said I think club 300 would be best for location .

Here is the deal for playtime:
$28.99 per person for 3 hours of cosmic bowling
Shoe rental included
6 per lane.
$10 per person for food (minimum)
So all in all, 38.99 per person for three hours of bowling.

Is everyone good for a Sunday switch?

Feb 3rd is the superbowl so im sure alot of people will not be down for this unless we go for the following sunday.

February 10th works for me, also if that's the plan then maybe we should consider all-star bowl? they have like $2 games or something like that

If we decide on sunday then i will go and check prices again as most places have deals on sundays.

Not sure if sunday nights give us cosmic/glo bowl or just regular as most places only do cosmic on friday and saturday nights.
