Hey guys I joined the forum a few weeks back, I noticed that new members are asked to post up a bit of info about them and their rides. My names Prithvi just call me P, driving outa brampton my ride is a 2003 Acura 3.2TL - Type S. So far no major mods since ive been too busy with school, but what i have got im very proud of. First thing i did with the car was replace the transmission, the owner before me completly abused her and the tranny was shot to sh*t(dont know if we're allowed to swear here) After that i installed a weapon r short ram intake and lets just say i wasnt dissapointed by the least. Then came the Alpine mono amp and 12 inch jbl sub. I was satisfied with the sound but i didnt know how much better it would sound until i installed a new kenwood double din touchscreen. I pulled out the old deck that the previous owner said the car "came with" but since he lied about everything else when it came to the car i didnt trust him with that either. it was an ancient deck that didnt accept bluetooth, usb, or even radio for that matter, just CD's and mini disks. i noticed a price tag on it that said bought from cash converters for about $22.I was disgusted to have such a cheap peice of equipment from a pawn shop in my baby. With the new Deck the sound became much more clear and the bass was alot more noticable, but it still lacked a certain something. After this point i was somewhat sattisfied with the car, but as i soon found out, that didnt last for very long. Spending some time on forums and checking out other modded TL's started giving me inspiration to want to bring my car to the next level. I immediately started looking into a new set of wheels, as the old chipped acura stocks just wernt gonna cut it anymore for the vision i have for this car. I found a nice set of 18's with rear staggered fitments that came off a genesis( what a coincedence as i was looking into getting a genesis before i bought this) and with a little bit of fender rolling and cutting away peieces of bumper, i was able to fit the wheels nicely at stock ride height.Unfortunately after i bought my ride some new wheels, my brother was involved in an accident with our grand caravan that completly totalled the front end. Thankfully he walked away without a single scratch on his body, but this now meant that i owned the only vehicle in the family. Being a family of 5 isn't easy, especially when your grandparents are also coming to make a total of 7. So i had to make the sacrifice and throw her back on stocks, as much as i hate too. and my most recent change would have to be the addition of my second sub, my buddys dad imported an mr2 from japan and he wanted the jb audio sub that came in it for his matrix. He just recently bought a Subaru Forester but when he tried to wire an aftermarket deck the wiring caused problems that caused his battery to die. Lucky for me this meant the mr2 sub was just sitting in my garage since we empty'd his car for a roadtrip and he never took it back. i was able to wire the second sub to 2 ohms to give my car the bass it really needed at its highs, but to also keep it nice and clean at its lows. Well i know its a long post but thats pretty much the story of me and my first car, at least the story so far. A good friend once told me that you should never rush into buying a car, that the right car will find you. In this case he couldnt have been more right. Hopefully you will all see my car as it is now and as it will be in the future, looking forward to meeting you guys throughout this summer and spending some time with other gearheads, Id also like to thank everyone for the warm welcome.

If you are having troubles with pictures, use a 3rd party host for pictures and paste the link that they provide you; you can also preview your post before you 'click' to post it. If it looks good in the preview it will look the same in the actual forums.
