Another noob in the house!

Post by VTECDUDE on Thu May 15, 2014 6:27 am

Hey guys, thought I'd make an intro. I'm new to this forum and not yet been designated as a prospect! My name might be quattrodude here but recently purchased a 2014 civic si! Here's a pic! She's bone stock at the moment, I will probably stick to visual mods if I can hold out for warranty reasons Laughing! Just lookin for a decent group of fellow car enthusiasts to share my passion with!
Cheers!
Mark

Not anything specific as if yet! I have to think about the warranty so I'm thinking flashpro and some visual things!

So couple quick questions, is there another platform somewhere where there is more communication? I noticed that some time ago you guys changed the prospect rules in order to check people out first which I think is a great idea and it also gives someone like me a chance to check out the group as well! What would be the next step for me? The weekly meets would be tough for me as I'm in construction and up at 4 am for work but would like to attend some events and shows! Would be especially interested in cruises as well, any of these planned for the near future?
Thanks
Mark

Lol i was wondering what was going on.

I like the past couple generations of civic. Itll be interesting to see what new styles come about with this one.

Yeah I work construction too, and don't go to any weekly meets. Come out to cscs, and other carshows that we have going. Think there is a BBQ/carshow this Saturday. I am not sure what parts of the forums you have access to, can you see the events/meets sub forums?
If not a few of the meets get posted ob FB page too, or you can always pm/msg a MOD, and they can tell you of any upcoming events.

I was hoping to get a bit of chatter on here prior to attending one of these events to avoid showing up and feeling like a lost puppy Laughing!

Staying active on the forum, and attending meets when you can is just fine. Not everyone can get out to meets that often, as long as the effort is apparent you're good to goo
