I need help....
ive been looking but i cant find all I need.
can someone fine me help on 240sx manual conversion instructions.
I thinking of doing this myself i think that's the best answer to all of this.
then I will really get to know my car and I can do my sr swap myself and all the cash ill save can go towards more mods. and i have about 2weeks of work, thats enough time to fail and try again.
no jokes on this, serious.

spend the fucking money and get it done professionally! i have done 2 turbo installs on a subaru and a RSX, i will NEVER do it ever again! that sorta shit is what mechanics are for!!

I'd have to agree.. its really risky and time consuming. Unless you honestly fully know what your doing, get it done professionally... that way, if they fuck up, you can get money outta them for messing up Laughing

I know what your all saying but I do have help I can call if things get bad and they are real mechanics and they have done this to rx-7's. its far out I know but its not impossible. and its only a 240sx. Laughing

if I fail then I can always send it to a shop but that's not the plan. I'm destructive and i push and brake things i think this is for the best, ill learn to appreciate the car and correct problems and make it stronger that it can handle me.

Just a heads up...

Last summer, two of my friends did a transmission swap (5 spd to 5 spd) on a 240sx together. They are both fourth year students studying automotive engineering, they know cars better than anything else. Having said that, it took them ATLEAST 10 hours per day working on the tranny swap alone, spending on average 10 hours each day (most days i actually watched them do it).

after they completed the job, they swore they would never do it again.

I'm not sure if it is the best idea for you to tackle this yourself, especially if you are solely relying on a video to teach you how to do it. the idea behind it all is nice but I'd STRONGLY recommend getting a mechanic to do it.
