Exhaust

ok so muffler is definitly shot....hence the civic sound.....most big shops ive called want like 3 bills to replace the muffler (keep in mind it is welded on)....however direct from magnaflow the damn muffler is like 100 bucks (if i buy a new tip 150) its like a 30 min job max....

anyone recommend a good honest mechanic (who can weld good) or an exhaust shop....other than Noyzboyz and GTCustom

its there race series 5x8x14 polished stanliess steel rear exit race muffler

2.25" inlet with a 4inch polished double wall tip

magnaflow part number from site: 14851

k i called the magnaflow link that i know and he said 180. i know it says $154 on the website. weird. see how much shipping is and let me know. are you sure you want to get the Race one though? they are always more expensive and loudddd!

i would suggest go with the street. unless ur running a cat back system.

I paid 6 installed for mine, Shane said he could have got it cheaper for me, but if they can get it for $500 (or close) and put it in yourself then you'd be set

thanks to curtis....the spec is back to sounding like she should....turns out my header was cracked almost all the way around just below the collector. had a buddy weld it up for me.. but as to why it cracked...can't figure it out. The header on the spec is bolted to the head (duh) but it also has a solid steel L bracket just above the flange for the midpipe that bolts the bottom of the header to the engine block...so the whole header moves with the motor. weird eh? anyway im happy to have my baby sounding right and she has all her power back now too!!! no wonder she felt sluggish

and sounded like a civic , i can say that cuz my ride sounded like one for a few days

I'm so much happier with how the car is just running in general man
