Hey guys. Anyone notice that theres a big difference in pull when your alone vs. having passengers in our car?
I know we don't have much power so at this low, every hp counts Laughing
Just wondering if I'm the only one noticing the huge difference...

G, Dro, Dan and Ron. This goes out to you guys too cuz you know what it felt like way back when Razz

If by "boost" you mean get up and go, then yes I do notice a bit(been a while since I drove with friends in car). I'll definitely get back on this thread on tuesday 'cause I'm going to be getting some friends and it'll be a full car so I'll make a note to check for a difference

with more passengers, i definitely felt a difference. but realistically, this applies to all cars... simple physics which i'm sure we all understand.

i had a CVT tranny in my lancer and felt it was overall VERY unresponsive. Downshifts took a good second before the computer registers increased pressure on the throttle, while "D" mode rendered any form of spirited driving impossible. This ultimately killed the experience for me with my lancer.

^Lol! My car never knew what "D" mode was, and the cars are heavy enough as is so adding passengers definitely doesn't help.

Adding weight definitely slows down your car, but what I'm trying to get at is a dramatic difference... its fully noticable.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one who noticed =P

honestly for me one passenger i barely noticed the difference but then again most of my freinds are paper thin and pretty skinny lol

but when my car is full or any more than 3 ppl myself included theres a huge difference

I personally haven't noticed a difference, but then again, for casual city driving it's maybe just not as obvious to me. I'm sure it is a bit slower, but it shouldn't be a significant difference. It's like the opposite of adding in a performance part. New part and you're like 'Wow! I definitely feel an increase in power!' ... but it only results in like a very minimal gain if anything. Maybe it's all in our heads ... unless your friend is this person:

Considering the size of the back boobs, if you motor boat the front, physics says that it would ripple around and they would pretty much motor boat themselves...
