leave at the same time , we all bring radios and those ahead will drive in the slow lane until everyone is together then we cruise

my co-pilot backed out of this so I think I will pass and just go to the summer sizzle next day - don't feel like doing that long drive on my own

ah but big difference this is your home base and you feel comfortable while I am new and still feel very much an outsider. Having a friend along puts me in a comfort zone at least - yup I am a wuss. Maybe when I know the group more I won't mind going solo.
