Multi-Cam Edit Test
3 camera test
Just a little test I was running after leaving the Pryde auto show.
Need more cameras to keep up with the number of mounts I have done up..
All cuts are close (. within a few feet .) and any excessive waiting was cut..
Going to look into another GoPro and the 3D mount..

Re: Multi-Cam Edit Test
When I was ready to go I honked, it was on the audio track of all the cameras and fairly easy to synch. then you find the length of time from the first camera, and from there I removed the time from other videos and pretty much guessed where the camera would be for the cut..
Not exactally 100% perfect, but good enough for the purposes I needed it to have.. It was more or less so I could have everything running and be at least 90% dead on.
It was so I could play with editing as cars pass, or I pass cars (. cruise type shots where continuity would be key .)

Re: Multi-Cam Edit Test
I'm probably only going to use standard cameras on the cruise, and everything while at the track just so I can get the most out of them. I'll be sticking them on anyone who is on the track when I'm not..
Hopefully having them on there we get people coming over, and shameless self promotion of our other events..
It's going to be a sick day.. And there will probably be a DVD all on its own..

Hey cam, just wondering - what do you use to import video files onto your workstation?
I always seem to be losing quality after drag and drop o_O.... (HD movie files)

Re: Multi-Cam Edit Test
Honestly, I just drag and drop.. From the GoPro it is an MP4 file, I used 720p @ 60fps (. dunno why, just the setting I had it on .)
It may be a matter of not having the codec's and so it plays it best it can.. Sorry, don't know what else it may be. If you create a project it may not have the HD settings?

VLC or GOM ... I like GOM, but when that fails, VLC ftw!
