HID kit or HID bulbs?
so my 97 eclipse still has the OEM headlights and fogs. i like the look of the light cluster but id like to brighten up the actual light. does putting in HID bulb make a nice clean difference or is it pointless and i shuld just get new hid headlights?

Re: HID kit or HID bulbs?
You need an HID Kit
an HID kit comes with 2xBallasts and 2xHID bulbs
the HID bulbs depend on the ballast to function properly
The Ballast provides the proper starting and operating electrical condition to power the HID bulbs
Go to JustG for HID hookups

I wouldn't know - shoot him a PM and see if he's comming
And if you absolutely can't wait to get some HIDs - go to Nextmod, tell em Kiru sent you

Re: HID kit or HID bulbs?
Looks like you have projector headlights already ... HID kit as Kiru mentioned will look good ... 6000k for best white/visibility balance, 8000k if you want some blue (but G warns of reduced visibility w/ 8000k or higher in the rain).
Do you know what type of bulbs you have in there currently?

Ohh ... my bad. ... your sig then is ur buddy's car? I was wondering ... looked at your garage pics and thought maybe you did a headlight swap.
HIDs in halogen headlights will make your headlights super bright, much to the dismay of oncomming traffic. You should be fine with a 35w kit.

They are super easy to install, hardest part is finding somewhere to mount your ballasts, after that its just plug and play.
