you could go with the eibach pro kit , it only drops you 1.2 front and .9 in the rear , the car can take that no problem , i got the sportlines 1.7 front and 1.2 rear?? i dont even remember anymore and i have had em for almost a year and they are holding up pretty good , some noises but i dunno if its just winter or not
will has the pro kit i believe , and it doesent look bad at all
Re: Offtopic chat~
only downside to just springs is it wears out your shocks faster but thats if you go with an extreme drop as well
Re: Offtopic chat~
get coilovers. u'll end up spending the same by the time u blow ur shocks with lowering springs. i had springs on my lancer, but that was only bc, it was a cheaper option. ;) if ur gonna keep ur car for a while. CO is the way to go!
If you need an HID kit, holla. $140 installed with 1 yr warranty.

Re: Offtopic chat~
pro kit is good but i would like adjustable coil overs so i can raise it in the winter when needed.
I'll let you know when I'm ready for the HID's

Coilovers say "DO NOT WANT" to winter and salty roads...

What's better? Having them seize from the salt and be completely useless, especially after spending 1k+ on them?

Not my money, so I don't really give a fack. But I know my air ride will never see winter time, and when I had the lancer and I planned on getting coils I was already looking for a winter beater. Most companies make their stuff for spring/summer weather, they rarely (If ever) consider people using them in winter with salt on the roads.

my friend rides on Cusco Zero fully adjustable coilovers on his TL year round. This is the third winter and counting, no problems whatsoever. He makes the effort to rinse inside his wheelwells atleast twice a week.

Exactly, take the necessary measures and you should be fine. But as you already know, most people just slap em on and be done with it.
