everytime we go to that lot its fucking locked , pisses me off when i see someone with pics from there hen go there and its locked up

another suggestong would be down by the docks and get the city in the back round.

i went to 11 polson saturday morning, there was some kid working the lot. $10 to park, photography prohibited. i had to see it for myself. there were a couple other lots but manned or gated. dunno about nighttime tho... any thoughts on the ex grounds?

I'm in on Sunday.. Can't make Saturday sisters B-day..

another thing to note , if you have never been to a TTS meet before and show up you will not be in the shoot , this is not ment to get people out that have never been out , this is ment for the people that rep TTS and come to meets ,post on the forum and are part of TTS in some way

If you happen to be a new member between today and then then thats a different story , im talking about people that have been on the forum for a long time and have never posted or been to a meet

Parking Lot at Rememberance Dr & Newfoundland Rd. google earth that shit, Ive been there before, but at night, someone in the city needs to check it during the day for view and I was there 2yrs ago, so make sure its not locked up or anything now. annnnd go

P.S. cant make it sunday personally though, first day back to work after having 10 off, calling in sick wouldnt go well and lossing a days pay wouldnt please my wallet

^ we are all meeting up at 3 pm in whitby and cruising there , the cruise is the best part , there isnt open lapping , the drag is the straight of the road coarse , but you do run half the track on the way back from the drag , see the meets section for the details

well that sucks both days for photos are this weekend i work till 8 both nights wont be able to make it.

I saw a pic someone posted somewhere taken from the top of the Loblaws parking lot ... has a good backdrop of the tower. Other option is, I can try to get in contact with the Harbourfront Centre to see if we can use this lot (however, we can probably only fit a handful of cars) ... my external harddrive at work decided to quit on me last week, so I'll try to dig up a photo of the spot.
Docks is nice, except lot is always locked ... then there's the parking lot by the T&T, hopefully the boats have all moved as they store them there in the winter and it blocks the backdrop of the city.
I gotta run to CT tonight, so maybe I'll try to snap some pics of a few locations while I'm out.

We had a shoot over at the piers like sim2424 posted. We found an alternate way into that lot in the middle of the night if you guys are down for that

Also would be an issue getting cars up onto the curb ...


Thought it was a good spot before I lowered my car, now ... not so much.

Zero and I did some shots yesterday bottomed out on my intercooler LOL. Opps.

gotta take some better shots at that location - i see potential there

What about the Ontario Place parking lot.. It would have some of the skyline in it, not locked.. May be borked now because of Indy..

the one i mentioned is tech part of ontario place grounds, forgot all about Indy though... Downtown is gonna be a zoo on sunday because of Indy...

*EDIT* The parking lot I mentioned is blocked by the Honda Indy, even if it weren't, obviously it will be full of cars cause of the race.


Only other place I can think of that Im 90% sure has part of the skyline (CN Tower over buildings) is atop the parking garage across the street from the back of Mount Siani at 40 Murray St. it is a pay lot though... dont know the rates, couldnt quite read the sign on street view.

Scouted some locations ... got tough as it was already getting dark when I started.

Yacht Club Parking (might be private)

Same spot, but on a paved parking lot Boat racks in the background, probably can't be moved.


By an old hydro station, says there's video surveillance and trespassers will be ticketed, but saw a jeep sitting there w/ some people just chillin


Taken by some delivery place or something, can't recall ... I should've taken a pic of the sign or something. There's a parking lot further down and a gate, fence was closed at the parking lot, but it was for some shuttle service or something.


Yacht club parking lot off Cherry St, bumpy entrance but this was a nice looking spot


T&T Parking lot, next lot looks like storage for cars for a dealership or something.


Lot just up from T&T, , there's a sign ... can't remember company name, but its a paid parking lot, not sure why its closed, but there's no toll gate or tenant, just that yellow gate.


Fed-Ex Parking lot on Lower Sherbourne


Parking lot across the street from Guvernment. Most of it is being re-paved, so its all torn up and stuff, but there's still a small section that's paved.


Loblaws parking lot, for "customers" only, so if you need to do some grocery shopping, Sunday is the best time.


Amsterdam Beer parking lot, unpaved. Just off Bathurst north of Lakeshore. Will probably be full of cars parked for the Indy though ...



There's also a park on Leslie Rd, south of Lakeshore. It's only open weekdays until 6p and weekends, so I couldn't get in to check it out.

1 nothing blocking the scenery like fences trees buildings , clear shot of the skyline of toronto , not a dirt lot , so not want pics of a dirt lot especialy after people clean their rides , its fairly close to the city to capture most of it in the image without cutting off alot of it , it looks big enuff to get 20-30 of us in the shot

we will pre meet at kc for 330 pm and leave at around 4-430 pm for the shoot ,if your late to bad we are not waiting for anyone ,we will be there a while so we can get some day shots sun set and night shots , this is very very serious to me and should be to everyone else , once we get there im going to line up the cars so we dont have a bunch of lancers beside each other since we have alot of lancers ,

once we are there and everyone set up and your late too fucking bad your not in the shoot , we will not rearrange things because someone is to lazy to show up on time

Yo juice... what are the chances that there may be setbacks with that location? like...gates/guards and what not?
