All Canadian online tuner magazine

been thinking about this for a while, but dont have the cash flow to start a real magazine, so i decided im going to do it online. it will be a all Canadian tuner magazine. with local car features,shop features,event coverage,part reviews,topic discussions from around the tuner scene and build tips etc.

thought id spread the word and see what TTS thinks about this. i havent started anythign yet, just a thought i have.

yup i have them on twitter and have checked it out a few times. mines going to be more of a performance mag. goig to try and make it more like Honda tuning but with all imports. nice clean builds, race car build ec. not really going to have the "rice" side of the import world.

im going to make 1 issue during the summer and pass it around the forums and see what kind of comments i get.if its positive ill keep it going. tons of nice builds in just the durham/gta area alone to make this possible.

this sounds kool. I'm in to help if needed. race car builds are awesome as i seen one guy near my house building a bmw race car in his garage.

thxs everyone tons of support here. starting in the new year im going to start working on te web site desgin,logo and lay out. then hopefully it will all come together. im most likely going need a few photographers for this mag, and for the first issue im going to feature 2 cars. ill post up when im ready for that and if anyone is interested let me know!

still have to come up with a name, i was thinking something simple like "The Canadian Tuner-Automovtive enthusiast magazine"

I think you need to simplfy the name a touch more. Its gotta be catchy and easy to remember. Thinking along the lines of Preformance Auto and Sound i.e PASmag, you could go with like Canadian Automotive Tuners Magazine or CATmag You could meld that into a logo using some kind of wild cat or something too. Your current name would be...TCTAEM <-- not really too catchy imo.

Could work out... at the same time, Pasmag just popped up and they're doing more than fine..

we would just need the money for promo events and what not... lanyards... keychains... and what not

i started the layout for it. not really in it to make money, just want to show more of the car scene around here and the race scene. its going to be pretty simple layout at first, blog style for now. waiting on logos and other stuff that i have a friend doing.

im not a fan of pasmag at all and the cars they show.ot really my thing,im more of a super street,honda tuning and project car mag kinda guy. been a few cars on pasmag ive liked, but not much. to each their own tho! and they are doing well without me reading them anyway

as for promo's lots of events to get coverage out there. tons of friends in the car community to help spread the word!
