A couple of Detailing Video's I enjoyed
This guy's name is Marc Harris from Auto Lavish, he is a good detailer and a genuinely funny guy. Based out of SE Michigan, Marc was awarded this year's "The who's who of detailers" in the DuPont Registry

Might be realted to detailing but do you guys know how to clean up fluid reservoirs? No matter what I try my windshield washer and brake reservoirs look so grungy :( I've scrubbed with soap and water, and with degreaser. I've removed them and let em soak then scrubbed some more etc but I'm never close to happy with how they look :( I can't imagine I'll ever find new ones to replace them so I gotta find some way to make them look nice and clean at least.

What type of degreaser are you using? I usually do a citrus based degreaser for up to 5 minutes dwell time, then I use a thick brush to agitate dwell again for 1 minute and then pressure off with at least 1800 psi. I'll try to help in the upcoming meets.

when i did my engine scrub the year before last i used wd40 as the main degreaser, let that dwell for a few minutes, agitated with a toothbrush and then used the coin wash soap spray before i rinsed it down, then used tireshine on the hoses. budget ftw ... i have to do it again this year tho, my bay is gritty.
but to answer your question i never used a degreaser for the paint, what kind do you recommend?

Try zep citrus 4:1, get it from home depot. Do a test before though if you've had your car repainted or have a single stage then don't go this route

Try to leave anything that needs to be there and regular car soap will take care of the rest

No problem at all, also use a old sock for cleaning up the rust proofing oils. If you get it on your mitt, that mitt is done or demoted to wheel and tire duty or something else horrible.

Nice, Yeah tommy is a good detailer and he doesn't even do it for a living. He's actually a truck driver.
Here is a video of a lamborghini that polished for 110 hours. It's pretty inspirational
