Hi to everyone from this community. Just signed up today and read some stuff. I must say there isn't any trolling and bashing going on which is awesome unlike other places. Everyone seems nice and kewl. Found this site after searching on Google for something i don't even remember anymore .

About me, I'm 19, male and live in Richmond Hill. Haven't got my first car but im hoping to get one by this year. Love to drive, just a lot of fun. I am a quiet guy who keeps to him self wish i can change that. Went to Ryerson for a year but fudged up so gonna try and get back in sometime April.

Really love cars but i don't know anything much about them =(

You'll learn quick, I didn't know a lot when I first got into it but after getting my own car, attending meets, shows, etc.. it's amazing how much you learn! TTS is an incredible group of people, very helpful and friendly.

Do you have any makes/models that you would be interested in getting for your first car??

Umm im planning on getting a civic or a lancer. Only gonna spend approx $4000 cause it will be my first car and I will be learning to drive manual on it. But I think i rly want a 03/04 Lancer and add some mods maybe.

First cars are always a hard choice, mainly because you are trying to balance finances and reliability. Good luck with the search and let us know if we can help.

Go with the lancer ... if you can find a Ralliart, buy it - its should have a 2.4L sohc motor (torquey)... and if you ever do run into money... you can do a 4G63 twin-cam head swap... after which you will have a stroked evo motor

and if you go with a lancer , we have a huge lancer base already here , i think a civi would be more budget friendly just starting out , mods for lancers are expensive , jus my 2 cents

Really think i will get a lancer and try some modding myself. Hopefully i can do it otherwise it would cost to much to mod at a shop or something

welcome! buy a civic , and throw a B or K in it! im biasis cuz i drive a civic myself. lancers are ver nice as well. im waiting for the Evo 6 to become legal myself!

i think i want a non American car for now unless its new. Not hating

for $4000 u can get a sick 2g eclipse or talon. ull start wit 210 hp 214 tq. thats more than lancers or civics can say :p
