One day when the FRS go for cheap used I am so gonna swap a 2JZ in one of those. The car looks nice and everything but I think it is lacking in the power department, they should have used at least a 2L turbo setup. Good to see the RWD sport compact making a come back!

wouldn't that have raised the center of gravity for the car? car comes on prius tires (literally) ... they say you don't need tires with good traction because low center of gravity and handling characteristics of the car.

guess basically then if you end up buying regular tires instead of eco tires as replacements, which will probably be cheaper too for equivalent sizes, you'll get much better traction..

Well yes if they use anyother engine then yes the center gravity would be raised but there are ways to fix this problem, like lowering the car stance and stiffing up supsnsion would help. But still i would like to get one

pretty cool idea, but i think ill wait till scion gets them at a dealership near me so i can beat the piss out of it. interested in buying one in the future, but would probably go Subaru BRZ and most likely wait till a turbo model is released.
