This is going to be great!! i am very excited!! i feel we had some very creative people with us that will pump out some insane designs!!!

Not only has Automotofoto joined us as a media sponsor but Performance Auto and Sound has joined TTS on this design build.

Oh and no pressure but I'm working on possibly getting them to help judge the entries.

gonna give it a shot on paper/pencil... just gonna draw out a design... then try to re-create it on forza O_O

Just out of curiosity is there any timeframe for when the car would be put together yet? Would be pretty cool to have Brimell lead our roll in to CSCS with the car, if not the opening show, one of the others, just an idea, now if only i had any artistic abilities...

We are hoping within the next five weeks. But I wouldn't hold me to it.

I will have to check if Brimell is going this year to CSCS. Great idea though!!!

good idea yet bad idea , with that much road travel there is bound to be some stone chips in the vinyl , and then would need to be revinyled to be sold , and the kms would start racking up on it , making it less of a new car

could always trailer it behind my truck... just thought it'd be cool to have the champs roll in with their own one-off car and use it to help with the wastegate promoting like its going to at PTC. But at the same time i see your point about its going to be sold and needs to remain in tip-top condition

true, at the same time we can always use the blue masking tape an tape up the hood an bumper. Thats how most shops transport there shop cars to location to location

Let me clarify, were not building a race car we're "building" a mild show car. ie:body kit/skirt pkg/wheels/suspensin to name a few, everything is not worked out yet but it has been started.

In other words get your focus on, and start designing NAO!!!

to clarify things a bit on what dro said there is a big chance of this car having a lip kit and carbon hood , we are still waiting for scion to confirm , these things will be worked out in the next couple days before the contest starts , this way everyone will know what the car will look like before they start on design of the wrap .

we are aiming for a small build , exhaust intake rims rubber skirt kit and hood ,full body wrap by restyleit , maybe a system , nothing is 100% yet but it will be soon , we had a very good meeting with brimell and we are just waiting to hear back on what we can and cant do and budget .

once we know everyone else will know so they can get designing according to whats on or not on the car . the contest will run for 1 month , 2 weeks to get your designs in , 2 weeks to vote , top 3 will then be passed along to brimell and restyleit and they will be picking the winner . the winning design may be altered slightly to fit the desired selling feature or may be kept exactily as is.once the car is finished we will be having a all invite meet at brimell to release the tts edition tc

once this begins we will be following the build right from the day the car arrives at the dealer ( brand new 2012 scion tc ) and will update on everything that happens , we will blog about this it will be on our twitter fb everywhere we can put it , and also pasmag will be following this build and blogging about it and so will auto moto photo

this is the biggest contest we have ever done to date , and to make it evern better the design on the car will be one done by a tts member which really makes this a tts edition tc , we are always trying to push the limits of what a car club is and can do and the best thing is we can involve everyone in this . even if your like myself and cant design shit , you can work with someone that can and always offer ideas , because we want the best possible results , even after u post ur design your free to edit it and repost as many times as u want if u see something that can be added later on ( until the posting deadline )

there is also going to be a little extra reward for the member with the winning desing . i'm going to try to work in , the winning member will give his or her signature , we will then turn it into clean decal to put somewhere on the car because that person is the one that designed it . it might be in the tts logo or might be off on its own , but im really going to push for this to really get a bit of extra fame for the winning member . and the winning member will also be the next TTS feature member ( on the month the car is released )
