i dont think a standard would be as fast , wouldnt be able to shift as fast as you need to
its not THAT much power! tons of cars out there that have way more power and are stick.

i seen one when i was in my skyline on q.e.w. ,,but there was lots traffic so we couldnt go -but we boath wanted to so badly..i think the outher guy would spooled up faster then me .. but mine would have hit harder when mine dose kick in ..(damn traffic booo ..)

Famous: Both of us know that driving a stick gives you a driving experience like no other, so for the pure enthusiasts like most of us here we would rather shift and lose .xxx of a second then hit those stupid paddles. And after my CVT, i'll never get tiptronic/sportronic ever again. (Unless it's a ferrari) and im an old man.

very true , and i doubt id ev er be a pro race so those quick shifts wont really matter,
