Just did my transmission oil change, decided to upgrade to a synthetic fluid offered by Redline.

Gotta say, shifting has improved. Upshifting, downshifting is quick and smooth even when the car is cold. Down shifting without rev-matching is significantly smoother than it was with the "genuine nissan tranny-fuid"

Just my $.02 incase anyone is planning on doing a transmission fluid change soon

In my experience, Redline and Motul are the best for transmission fluid.

I Have to get this done on the autozam. I've been told to use http://paceperformance.com/i-7335347-88900399-gm-synchromesh-manual-transmission-fluid-friction-modified-1-quart.html

GM synchromesh friction modified. Is this Red Line stuff similar? Also where do ya get it?

Nappa is a supplier for Redline if I remember correctly.

Motul, there are lots of dealers.
