Re: Nicolas_p Astra XR
Then I started wanting to modify a lot more, first after the conversion I had to get rid of the long ariel and replaced it with a sharkfin
I then decided to start doing some work on the interior of the car, I did a blue SMD conversion
Changed the crappy cloth interior for some nice leather
Changed the silver trim to Piano Black

Re: Nicolas_p Astra XR
Back to the exterior, I got some new wheels - Team Dynamic MonzaR ,lowered on Eibach Sportline and 25% tint on the rear and 37% on the fronts
Also got around to installing a whiteline RARB
Custom SRI spoiler to fit with the sharkfin, needed to have an intend drilled out so the trunk could open all the way

Re: Nicolas_p Astra XR
Normal hallogen lights weren't bright enough for me so I installed HID and plasma LED foglights, they are 80w per bulb
Full LED conversion for the interior as well
I have also upgraded all the audio of the car
Apline ICS-X7HD and Alpine KTP-445A amp hiding behind the glovebox
Kicker KS series speakers
JL Audio DX500 Mono amp, bungee cords are there if I need to tie down cargo not to hold the amp
MTX thunderpro2 12" sub
Me having fun with my camera a couple days ago

I've been starting to look at getting a boosted engine from overseas. They have a 2.0T pushing 260hp from factory with some people getting 400HP with small mods. My next mod is poly bushing on my front control arm and upgrading the front sway bar links. My OEM finally started giving out and I have some shiny new whiteline ones coming

Re: Nicolas_p Astra XR
Upgraded my front sway bar links from cheapo OEM to some new whiteline ones, a nice little job which took probably 20 minutes per side
My car has really stiff suspension, I only had the front jacked up.
I was getting tired of my stone chipped and scratched headlights, so I did some research and restored them to almost new.
