Bored in class

Soo I got bored in class and all this talk about decals got me excited

I decided to just make a random one and I might as well put it up... No point in wasting the 3 minutes it took to make it.

But I apologize in advance cuz its not that great and I kind of made it to go with my lancer =P

And just in case you guys don't like it...

Infamous and Hydro.. this a formal request to possibly let me put mine design on my car? it would go well with my theme and I have a perfect spot for it =)

But please do tell what you guys really think of it, there is always room for improvement in anything.

Oh snap.. I just read a post from Infamous...

"honestly , im not trying to be a dick , but no go on this , we already spent months with a whole bunch of different designs and it took a long time for everyone to agree on a decal , we are going to stick with what we all agreed on from the start , not going through another decal vote again"

I'm not trying to change the decal with this post

I just wanna know if you guys would let me put this one on my car? I'll go get it produced myself and what not but I understand if you guys want consistency amongst all of our cars.

i cant see why not. if you like it. go for it. im going to put one of my own designs on my car.

heres the issue ,
1. i cant stop anyone from doing what they wana do ,
2. if you do something on your own , its not an official decal or logo of the club . if you do do something on your own , keep it off the forum so people dont get confused about anything
3. if everyone wants to do their own decals now , no one can identify us as a club cuz all the decals are going to be different , there is no sense of unity behind it , me personally i dont want everyone having different decals , this was the point of have the club vote on the decal and logo , and we all decided as a club what it was going to be . its like me taking a tts sponsos logo and changing it around to suit my needs , the goal is to have a decal and logo that when people see it they can identify it with tts , if everyone has something different there is nothing to identify it with. i have never been or will never be hard to work with when it comes to ideas for meets/club shit etc.. this whole thing is made up of club feedback , but one thing im picky about is the decal and logo , the club needs to be repped proper and it needs to be uniform , one thing i am open to when we do clothing is different designs and logos to make it more appealing clothing wise

I'll just go with the decal that we are going to mass produce.

BUTTTT I will say this, I think you (Infamous) and Hydro should have slightly different decals so people know who the admins or creators or whatever you wanna call yourselves are

Maybe we can use my design for a shirt or something? Who knows =P

nothin was shot down , jus some things have to be uniform , we all have different rides,different mods,different tastes , we need that symbol that unifies us , what brings us together first is our passion for cars and tuning , and with tts we have the club we can rep it with

we also thought about having seperate decals for mods , but we want to avoid members feeling ike we feel we are better then them so we have different decals etc.. ya kno , i kno there was some issues with that in tlc , but it is still an option , any ideas you have tho i encourage you to toss them out , thats what the feedback section is for , there is no bad ideas , some work some dont , everything from forum colour,pics,layout,decals etc.. was all decided by member votes

i think seperate decals for admins, mods and members would be a good idea

Being uniformed is key, that way like famous said we will be recognized as a unit instead of a bunch of individuals. Im open to having some sort of marking to identify mods/admins, but we want to also avoid having people feeling like we are unequal. This was tried in another club, and was a disaster hence why we are skeptical about this.

Well it makes sense for all of us to be uniform and be recognized as a club...

But I think you two (Hydro and Infamous) should at least have a different decal indicating you guys are the creators of TTS.

The whole different decal thing failed in "other clubs" because of recognition and criteria as to who wore what badge and what not and some people didn't think that certain people deserved badges or should be having a different decal...

I don't think anyone would argue here that you two deserve different decals for the sole purpose of recognizing that you guys started this thing from the ground up...

Thats just my view on it...

wow , members fighting for us to have our own decals , never seen that before

we will see about it , still dont want any situations where anyone feels lees then someone else cuz of it or someone feeling that we think we better etc... but i see what you sayin tho

one thing that shoulda be recognized before when this was attempted in another club was the people that started it , but they never got any credit at all , ............................................................ dro..................................................................g..................

People didn't get credit that should have and that shouldn't happen this time...

Credit is due where credit is deserved.

i dunno bout the differnt decals...i agree with giving credit where its due but, if you think about it, anyone lookin in from outside the club will see it and not know what it means (like tlc with the stripes, 1,2,and 3...im on the board and still dont know what they mean!). so really, the only people that will know what the different decals mean are the members... unless you find a way to state "MOD", or "PRES" or what have you under the original tts decal, that way you still have the same decal as eveybody, but it will just say your involvment in the club under it. get my drift??

just sopmething simple like that, so you keep the unity, but it still states what you do in the club

I kinda get what everyone is saying about having the ranks of people on the car... what about having your forum name instead of your rank?

People who are part of the forum will know whether you're an admin or mod or whatever when they spot your car...

^ that will cost A LOT more than usual! also its a lot of hassle.

But if people are wiling to pay the little extra but, why not? just something to think about

As for the TTS different decals, I just meant something to distinguish the creators from the regular members. Anything from a bigger decal, to a different colour combo, to initials under it signifying creator or president like roblaza mentioned. Just something to give a little separation, but still recognized as TTS.

I'm not talking about so many different ranks.. just the creators and members... thats it. That way, everyone still feels equal, but we still know who to go to when shit goes down or we have any questions or concerns.

we are all in the same club no matter if your a mod or dro or me or a member , we all rep the same thing , so we will all have the same decal , we dont need to stand out any more then any other member , no politics behind this shit here jus straight enthusiasts with the same passion for tuning like the next member

The shirt idea is a pretty good one...

You can wear it to the meets and if people wanna approach, they can go straight to the big intimidating black guy and the guy with a tatoo on his neck (I hope I'm not seeing shit Infamous)
