Coloured Projectors

Saw this on evoxforums ... any idea how it's done? I think it looks awesome and I'm thinking of trying to tackle this on some custom retrofits. I'm talking about the red in the projector lenses.

Ya man!! I'm trying to find an extra set of headlights so I don't have to worry about driving around w/ no headlights.
Ur car was purdy!!! Love WW Lancers! Almost went WW, but I liked how the RA tails look on black.

I want to get dual halos, but like 3/4 or 1/2 rings, angled ... wont make much of a difference because I ordered some eyelids, but yessss!! Just let me know what I need to pick up and I'll start shopping.

are the greatest, nastiest looking projectors for a Lancer that I've ever seen. Nasty. (in a good way)

OH btw, do anyone know how I can disable my lowbeams from turning on automatically when I start my car? - With my old headlights, that never happened. And is the 3/4 1/2 angel/demon eyes easy to do? I really like em

Too bad you need to send your headlights to the guy in California to get them done and his turn-around time is like 2-months if you're lucky ... that and I don't have the SSS projectors to begin with.

I think to disable your low beams upon start up, you need a DRL bypass?

Dro's 1/2 eyes I believe are wrapped with electrical tape to cover the top part. Looks mean!

Snap, you think CiNcity Designs would do my Eclipse projectors like that? lol

i would assume theres some sort of film behind the projector glass 'ball' to give it that colored effect. should experiment around and see waht works.

in all honesty i think it looks slightly tacky, but then again to each his own.

-Zero, you can disable your DRL's. Go to Victor @ Viz Motorsports. He is like 2 secs away from Malik's. He will cahrge u 50-60 to disable them. You have fogs'? DRL's will be switched to those. Your car might also have a DRL fuse that might fix that. check online. do some research.

Ron the red is just an LED. you can have whatever color u want. fairly simple.
