Performance World Custom Car And Truck Show

Hmmm seems to be some issues. Shane and I will be working it out I guess.

It's hard to say what will look good we will jsut play around with positions at the show and see what's best. Trial and error

I haven't recieved anything yet either, minus the request to send in a different photo when I registered.

So I figure I will let everyone know the bad news.

I recieved a email last night from pw reps and i was just shocked and didnt even know what to say . Long story short 3 out of 5 were not accepted into the show for reasons which still have not been given . I'm still shocked over this , this show was never about one person it was about us as a team and now we pretty much lost that team . This in my opinion was very very unprofessional on their part to inform us of this 1 week away from the show after everyone has spent countless hours and dollars on their rides getting them ready for the show . I also found it very unprofessional for them to leave it up to me to tell everyone instead of them telling those they did not accept . I really didnt even know how to tell everyone and I didnt want to tell , but I had to since I knew pw reps would not do so . This was a huge low blow for us in my eyes and I'm still i dont even know what i am to be honest , I'm a bit of everything right now angry/depressed . This was supposed to be a big first show for us . I would pull out of the show if I wasnt at a booth but if I did so I would screw over Graphiti by doing so ,but I dont even want to be there myself anymore now after this . In the long run this is nothing more then a lil set back for us , there will be plenty more shows , and bigger and more important ones this year that we will be part of . I really dont know what they were thinking as to why they would reject some of us . We are still waiting for some answers and I will keep everyone posted on this . I know everyone will be angry over this but I'm only going to say this once , handle this in a mature way , and if you have any questions for the members that were going into the show maybe just pm them since emotions are very high right now . We will deal with this in a proper way after the show but believe me it will be delt with in some way .

Now for those members that were not accepted to the show because they couldnt handle having too many clean rides , your name has been put down on a waiting list , and there will also be free vip tickets waiting for you . I will check into getting free vip tickets for your wives/gfs as well and keep you updated , its really a low blow to say you got rejected but here is some free tickets , but if you still want to go to the show atleast you cant take the free vip tickets so it wont cost you anything .

I'm still just shocked over this and got no sleep last night because of this, I went from being excited to just not even wanting to do it no more , I cant even imagine how those that got turned down feel , I still dont even really know what to say and it was very hard for me to bite my tongue when i replied to that email but I had to for the moment till the show is over

I just know how much work everyone put into this and for this to happen so close to the show , this is one time when i can really say i feel your pain ,cuz i just feel like shit right now , and i feel even worse that i had to tell everyone . all the hype and excitement is gone now for me , its just not gona be the same now

Well .... Well.... That's BS. Such late notice too that's F'n whack. That's what was gonna be most fun setting up with the crew and the TTS pressence there all weekend. I aswell only came into this show for the crew and now......? Now the pressure's on and TTS will be the main focus of my car. Just a thought TTS logo the size of my back windsheild is It possible (Infamous )???

Damn sat I have my last rim to paint off and preped ready to paint on Sat. Was gonna do Fri but work all day and I need to work on the rim during the day. I guess. Maybe I can squeez it I needed something to push me on the road cause the roads are still shitty and don't wanna take it out. Haven't even checked if my battery is good still ? I know that I haven't done much to my whip, but I know it's def clean without a hint of rice. Im trying to let it slide, because I know my whip is under-construction but it's still tough to swallow... Installed coils in the winter...Copped Leather Seats...Booked Time Off Work...Told a bunch of people to come check us and myself out at the show... :oops:

No matter how much I DON'T want to go and see what was chosen over my whip (hoping it's not a bunch of rice-a-roni's), im rolling through to support infamous and rep regardless.

So basically....

They explained to me new rules like the Hotrods 3rd party choice whos in and whos out.

They have even less space for the Tuners cars then previous years.

They only knew of this new way of choosing cars within the last little while. They were looking for new to show car. Explained we were all new to show.

New Owners of Performance world made new choices in design and such.

She asked me if I wanted to be squeezed in. (not brown noseing) I said "No" I wanted our crew in not just me wasn't right. Explained that they made me look like a ass. She though I was fighting with her and in fact started to get a bit "formal"

I told her I wasn't pissed about not getting in I was pissed at only finding out within a week of the show. Busting my ass like most of you getting ready for it. Shows arn't hobbies they are busniesses.

I very polietly asked for a formal email (x2) stating I wasn't in the show. I need it for the sponsors to know I tried my best but wasn't good enough for them.

She said I shouldn't have promised anyone. I said I didn't they did. I asked if everything was ok with my application she said "yes"......... the application was fine just the car wasn't what they were looking for.

Oy I wonder now why I retired from this LOL.

Man that Sucks guys :( A lot planning and prep gone. Definatly depressing. But like a few of yall have said already, not the end of the world. More shows upcoming!

With that said Shane has a obligatin to himself and to the sponsor so that made sence for him to do the show.

Proud of you. Tough I agree a man has only one thing in this world and its his honour and your toughing it out for all of us. Same thing with you DS.

Shows arn't easy they are tough. But I think things have really changed far more then I was even close to knowing.

I guarentee you Wastegate will not be like this. You gotta have good qualitly cars but you don't say no to good cars who registered far in advance. Not good business. No wonder they are loosing space.

It was completely unprofessional to not inform those of us who weren't accepted, that that was the case, especially considering we were entering as a car club. How are we supposed to rep a club with 1-2 cars?
I'm honestly incredibly exhausted from working and almost every spare minute I had I spent working on stuff for the show (and killing zombies ... but that hobby might come in handy some day). It's a low blow, but not one that's going to stop me from completing what I've already started.

I think the biggest shock to me was them not accepting Nightwingii ... they're just plain retarded.

to be honest we entered as a crew and they shoulda informed us of this long ago , if this would of happened sooner i would of never gone through with the wrap and would of pulled out to . i really have no choice now . i know i will never ever enter or attend another pw after this im going to strongly encourage everyone i know to never attend this show again . there is nothing wrong with anyones cars that were registered to the show . the point of entering as a crew is to showcase the rides you have . 100% everyones rides are cleaner then most of the tuner area but i guess they are stuck back in the fast and furious times where tuner was ....................rice . As the people that run the show they know it takes alot of time to get things ready , they should know to be on point and let people know whats up with their rides , very clasless and unprofessional in every way . we should shine as a crew .

I got an email today f/ PW ... pretty much just said not accepted, want to be on a waiting list? want 2 free day-passes?
I said no and yes ... I already postponed getting remaining work off. Also map pack came out for CoD:BO ... damn monkeys!

Not sure on the wait list. My car just about ready. But said yeah to the tickets. As I said it will help me with Wastegate.

So As TTS how should we roll. Sat/Sun works best for me.
