Need some opinions

Well depending on the job situation come spring time it has come time to part ways with my yellow (sorry multi yellow) car. What i would like to hear from you guys is ideas for a new ride. Keep in mind it can't be smaller then my sentra and i would prefer a car that is RWD or AWD...so sick of FWD . I am also trying to keep it below 15k in price.

A couple ideas ive had so far are:
2002 Lexus IS300 (yes with a 2JZ non turbo:P)
2005 Audi S4 with the 2.7L v6 bi turbo

so if you guys could shoot me ideas i would greatly appreciate it. remember i wanna mod this car over time so nothing that has no aftermarket support like my sh*t sentra

You can get plenty of cars that are RWD, very few that are AWD in that price range and requirements you have stated, keeping reliability in mind.

You need to also let us know what you would be using it for, how important is reliability, gas mileage, etc.

This will be my DD and must have room for my kids but it will be my weekend racer/show car. yes reliability is important for sure.

Ya the s4 sounds badass but I've hurd they have some wiring problems (aka not reliable) :(

just a suggestion, euro cars will kill you on maintaining them.. much more than your jap cars. =( in the last month i dont know how many sensors failed and got replaced =( i is a sad boy

As for maintaining the car I'm not worried about labor I do most work myself
But saying that I don't wanna be having to fix it every month

And Dro if u got cash I'm sure I can spend the time swaping them for ya

As of now I'm leaning towards the IS300 the idea of a supra swap is just plan badass

haha labour is okay just the parts for euro cars are a pain...
volvo timing belt and waterpump replace in a few days qouted 1000+
i can wait it out but if i got to fix i got to fix. but in general parts is whats killing.

A WRX in decent shape would be my suggestion, there is tuning support for it and its a well balanced car all around.

its the shop my father goes to, long before 20 years ago. yes its high up there but for service its whenever i want, a lift is open for me

I got cash, it just depends on how much you want for em. You didn't do too good of a job showing me what they are worth at the track...

Funny I'm pretty sure I beat u 2 outa 3 times and only reason I lost the first run was cuz you owned me on the launch ;) get the cams and then pick up a safc and tune ur ride u'll see a HUGE difference. I'm done with the spec though I gota get something new

a3 is smaller then my sentra is it not? could be wrong

a3 is nice, driven it a few times. you'll have more room for stuff in the back. since its a hatch. but for seating, it'll be about the same as your sentra.

Don't buy a Lancer ... just saying.

Actually I pwnd you on the launch ere-time, and I won't mention how close all the runs were against my ALTIMA (which so happens to have the exact same motor as yours) with less mods.



I can see why you want another ride, maybe try something AWD to compensate for your poor launching abilities...
