i went today, what a HUGE show its massive i underestimated it for sure. i may still come up sunday with u guys. Brimell is there with a scion iq, u can write on it! so go graphitti crazy on it :p.



also FYI entrance is 20$... CASH ONLY, no debit, MC,AX. some of the vendors do have debit and stuff to pay for stuff which i find weird as hell.

Its in Hall 3 near the big bay doors. Beside the cars from 'Dark Angels' across from the 'Piston Pushers' club, behind the Camaros near the Mike Holms area

haha, Brian your discription sounded like one of those "its my cousin's, bestfriend's, 3rd husband's, mistress's, nephew's, parole officer's dog, who's bday party we're going too" BUT there's no way anyone can not find your display now. Goodluck at the show, not going to make it out got some medical expenses to take care of and cant afford much more than a beer or two as weekend fun at the moment. Thanks for coming out guys : ) I did everything I could to make the car stand out as much as possible. The car definatly got a lot of looks questions and comments. The fella with the stock cars beside me said if I got a nickle for every picture taken of the car I'd be doing well for myself haha.

Kinda funny though how at big events it attracts sooo much attention but never any awards :( I'm gonna work on it and do my best to be 'competitive' in big shows. I'm not however going to 'rice it up', if I can't finish the car how I want it and keep it looking neat and clean well then I'll just show it, enjoy the questions and comments and not worry about awards. It's all about having fun anyway right!!

Regardless of no awards it got some good attention from other people. The marketing supervisor for 3M Canada asked me if I would be interested in showcasing the car at some shows for them, so I'll get in contact with him and see how that pans out. Also MT Motorsport Limited expressed interest in building my engine. Thats something I'd like to do but I doubt I'd be able to even start that this year at all. Regardless something new on the table at least.

I wouldn't worry about awards from a show like this one, I'd think they are very biased to their bigger clients. I'd let the crowds do the talking, and your car diffidently had more attention then pretty much any car out there, and that's saying a lot since you where tucked a way in an inconspicuous place.

Yeah Cool fella. He was pretty happy with that engine and I don't blame him, looked Awesome! its basically the same engine I have except my is 660cc his is a 1L. I really wanna know what it would take to do at least some of that to my car...Scared to ask though .

saw pics from the show though. looked amazing! Brian, the car looked siick from the pics, Lol never really noticed the other cars beside the Az-1 much later

Best car in the show by a landslide, a little AZ-1 tucked away off to the side.
Glad you were still getting a lot of attention. Show seemed poorly organized ... almost like they had the tuner hall in the back where the stage was, and then only let more tuner cars in when classics/muscles bailed out ... they were kinda spread out in random locations.
