TTS Year End Awards

At our year end party at Boston Pizza we are going to be giving away year end awards to those that win them . This is something new and i hope everyone gets excited about this , but the competition is going to be real tough as we only have 5 catagories .

We will be giving away

Best Domestic
Best Import
Best Track Car
2012 Rookie of the year
2012 TTS MVP

Here is how it works . To enter in the best domestic/import/track car class you must of at least done 2 shows ( 1 being cscs ) with TTS this season/ 2 Races or rally races either at cscs or other legit competitive races . Obviously the show rules apply to best import and best domestic , and the race rules apply to best track car .

TTS members will be voting for those 3 catagories via email . Why email? i do not want to do online polls as i want to keep the winners a full surprise when we announce them at the year end party .

You have to enter yourself into the contest with one photo of your ride with full make/model/trim of your car .

The TTS rookie of the year award will be decided by myself and dro , and based off of awards won , shows and meets attended , forum and fb activity . All those that qualify for rookie of the year must have joined TTS in 2012 and must enter yourself on one of the 3 voting catagories you qualify for

And the biggest prize , the TTS MVP of 2012 award . Once again will be chosen by myself and dro . To qualify for the MVP award you must enter the best track car or domestic or import catagory . Once you have done so you automaticaly qualify for the MVP award . This is how the mvp will be decided .

Number of votes from the other catagories .
Number of shows and meets attended
Number of awards won
How clean your cosmetic mods are on your car and flow with the shape and lines of the stock body
How well your rims match the style of your car
Color theme of your car/ theme of your car
How well your car is maintained and clean it is
How well your audio set up is
How much function are you getting from your mods
Condition of your paint/vinyl

So based on this , someone that has spent 2000 on mods is fully competitive with someone that has spent 10000 on mods .


Everyone has until september 30th to enter themselves into the catagories that will be posted in the TTS contest section of the forum . Voting will then start October 1st and go until november 1st . So this means if you currently dop not qualify for a catagory you still have lots of time to get out to shows and tracks to qualify for the year end awards . If you already qualify enter asap , do not wait until last minute

the only people that do not qualify at all for anything are myself and dro being p and vp of TTS , everyone else is a go as long as you meet the requirements.

That's right we doing it big this time around!!... like always

it was pretty self explinatory. but is there like a 1,2,3rd place for like best import\domestic

or 1 winner for each category

just 1st , like i said its going to be a very very tough competition

who knows if TTS has enough funds then we might be able to do a 1st and second but we will see , as of right now its just first place

how many domestics do we have? I can only count 2 that I have seen. looking at the cscs list I think 38 out of 41 are imports .
