Need Tires Soonish ... Possibly Empty Need Tires Soonish ... Possibly

Post by Juice Thu Feb 03, 2011 4:58 pm

I'm in the market for some new rims. Been trying to get a set of EvoX Enkei's off a GSR. In the case that I find a set and require some new rubber ... what's a good tire to get? I really don't know what to look for. I'll be doing a little tracking, but not much. Also I don't drive beyond meets/events. I also have winters on my stock 16's so they'll be seeing very little to no snow.
If I can find a set of GSR rims, stock rubbers are 245/45 on 18"s. (18x8.5 +36, spacers not required to sit flush)
I'm also not very financially gifted, so I'm looking for something fairly affordable, but of good quality. Thanks! Very Happy

i bough some nitto neogen's and i love them. when it comes time to replace them i'll be going with those again... they were relitively cheap for a higher end tire. a set of 205-40-17's installed cost around 650 and change

I was looking at some XXR 522 running @ 18"

Nextmod was asking 700 for 4 rims, then with tires $1150 cash - I think I can still find some for cheap

also considering, with XXR - the 527, 526

If you find wheels that look like the Volk TE37 (replicas or used) I would get them though

also have interest in this:

huh, nice tires - and they look pretty inexpensive considering they're on sale

And then considering you love them on your GTR...lol they must be good
