Re: Multi-Target Radar System
in my opinion... it eventually will, no real stopping it
but then, someone out there'll invent radar jammers, or even just smash them up/ spray paint them blind
when they release them, some politician will make a PR event of it for votes, and through that they'll most likely announce where they'll be placed = "areas of increased traffic violations"
Frankly... i'm surprised it took them this long to create a system like this

it'll come down to how effective it is, and how much it'll cost the city
I'm gunna assume they'll have a 'testing and evaluation' period with one or two radars set up, somewhere in the city

Re: Multi-Target Radar System
^^they are gonna have to hire huge teams to evaluate the videos and keep the system running. Thats hundreds of new jobs for each municipality this is set up in. that in itself may be enough of a cost to keep this away.

Re: Multi-Target Radar System
all they'd have to do is integrate it to a system like the ones that run the red light cameras, make it automated
of course it won't be easy, but it'll depend on how much they want this/ how much the city streets need it

Re: Multi-Target Radar System
Thanks God im getting hide-away front plate for shows, it would come in handy if this ever comes to pass. Not like im a speed demon rollin on 20's, especially next year when I go stanced. It's still good to know I won't get ticketed for overtaking some granny chillin in the fast lane.

I'm not worried about this at all ... then again, my cruise-control gets a good workout every time I go for a drive.
