Re: Eclipse GT
Wow it's been a while since I've been online here. Time for an update.
Custom built rear sway bar. Stock black, eibach red, custom large black.
Custom rear sway bar links.
New larger race rims.
Arp Evo wheel studs installed.
SS brake lines. Waiting for other parts and warmer weather.
Light weight battery installed.
Xmas gift from my wife. Oil cooler with fan and remote oil filter.
Custom front sway bar links. Waiting for warmer weather.
Stiffy engine damper installed but removed for a custom solid link.
Pioneer appradio 2 installed.
Brembo test fitting. My winter rims won't fit over them so waiting for warmer weather.
Painted ready for install.
Lots more planned

More parts ordered. Ive got a Quaife LSD and a Spec stage 3+ clutch on the way. This is going to be a whole new car once all done.

Re: Eclipse GT
For sure. Better yet come out to a race and ride shotgun for a few runs. It was becoming a wild ride at the end of last year. With the big brembo brakes, bigger tires, better traction and stiffer springs. Its going to be unreal this year.

I didnt even intend on modding when I got this car. Now it has gotten very serious. And I'm no where near done yet.
I cant wait to drive the car with the LSD. Expecially on the autocross track this summer. I had alot of traction issues last year.
Clutch arrived yesterday.
And I purchased this today so I can do the transmission work myself. The installation starts Sunday.

Re: Eclipse GT
Thanks for the support guys. Nothing better than shiny new parts.
Tranny is back in. Engine bay is back together. All motor mounts back in. Brembo brakes are on the front. I need to connect the stainless steel brake lines still. And do the rear brembo's.
Custom front sway bar links installed. Heres a side by side comparison.

Re: Eclipse GT
Oh I also have the other parts to go in.
Spark plugs, Coil pack, 720cc fuel injectors, The remote oil cooler, power steering cooler, Oil temperature gauge, finish my custom centre dash, aluminum pedals, Rear view camera, and steering wheel sterio control interface.
I'm hoping to have most of this done by saturday morning. The little things can wait. Gauges, pedals, etc.

Re: Eclipse GT
Thankyou. The pile is getting smaller. The junk pile is getting bigger.
Oil cooler installed. Sadly there was not enough room for the fan :(
And a much larger oil filter. Mounted on the front tranny mout. Great access too.
