Aristo Build
Hello, I have just joined this forum and I am looking forward to meeting everyone this summer.
This Aristo I'm building right now is my second one. The first one was unfortunately destroyed by my brother, so yeah if you have something nice don't let other people drive it I was able to salvage most of my setup, so it wasn't a total loss, I have 2 2JZGTEs now! Luckily enough I was able to find a new shell in really good condition (same color as the old one too!) to begin my (re)build on.
This was my setup before:
ENGINE
Stock 2JzGTE Motor
PT6765 Billet (Running 25psi)
Tial 38mm WG
3" Turbo back exhaust
AEM EMS Series 2
Sard 800cc Injectors
Dual Aeromotive 340lph
Custom FMIC setup
DRIVETRAIN
R154 5spd Swap
Spec stage 5 clutch
Custom Driveshaft
SUSPENSION
Tein HR Coilovers
Polyurethane Bushings
EXTERIOR
None
More to come soon!

Yes, the chassis is also basically and extended MKIV supra chassis. Almost all MKIV Supra suspension and brake components are 100% compatible.

Nice Aristo!! My buddy is a huge Toyota fan and has taught me a lot about what Toyota can bring to the table. If I had a chance in owning an older Toyota, an Aristo would certainly be in the top 5 I'd consider!

Re: Aristo Build
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
I am in the process of test fitting the rims I will be running this summer. I have ordered XXR 526 20x11 +15 for the rear and 20x9 +35 on front. Went with +35 up front because I will need to use spacers to clear the big brakes that are going in
So far I had a chance to test fit the rear, had to roll and pull the quarters a little. Tire size is 285/30/20 although I think 275 would fit a little better.
When it warms up and I get some spacers I will test fit the front next.

Re: Aristo Build
Engine block has been stripped. Sent it out to machine shop today to get it cleaned up, bore, hone, etc. Just waiting on some goodies to ship to me now HKS Flat top pistons, Tomei Rods, Tomei Cams, Ferrera valve springs, and all the other little bits. Once it warms up I will put everything together

Re: Aristo Build
If you are not assembling it as soon as you get it back, be sure to brush transmission fluid or assembly oil all over and wrap it or seal it in an airtight bag.

Re: Aristo Build
Should be getting my block back from the machine shop next week so I decided to pull the head apart today.
Removing buckets:
For anyone that does engine rebuilds this is a MUST HAVE tool, it will make your life so much easier especially if you are working with performance valve springs. This one is the $50 Snapon knockoff from ebay.
Tool setup on the head:
Valve spring keepers:
Keepers removed:
23 more to go
Stay tuned!
