hahaha ya man before i got my own place my car was my motel on wheels! but those cops scared the shit outta me! apparently at import fest you can buy a book that tells you all the legal and illegal things you can do to your car, i'll see if i can find the name of it i think my cousin has it

alot of the violations you guys are mentioning are all up to the cop really... ive been pulled over twice in the same day within 5 mins from each other by 2 diff cops cause my license plate is in the front window... both let me go. however, they could have both ticketed me for 115$.

as for what they can do when pulling you over, not much unless they have a reason to. However since alot of us own fast looking cars, they might check simple things like, does your horn work if u have a custom steering wheel, or do u hav a cat on ur exhaust (believe it or not they check). If they they have any reason to believe you are at a specific location to street race (woodbridge runs for example), and they check the simple things like ur cat or horn and u hav neither, they may make u pop ur hood and look for other illegal things (like NOS connections). however most cops dont kno much about cars like we do.

For any ticket you recieve, FIGHT IT! unless uwere going something like 30 over n he drops it to 10 over. fight ur ticket. no matter wat they will drop the charges 1 level (unless its at its lowest). Furthermore, if the cop doesnt show up, u go free (which often happens). so deff fight any ticket u recieve.

Something else to notice, if there is any mistake on the ticket, (spelling of name or street or city wrong, wrong speed limit posted on ticket than on street etc.) the ticket is null and voided. when u fight it in court u can address it. EVEN if u kno ull most likely keep the ticket, its worth a try and the 8-12 month process it takes will delay ur insurance going up for at least a year

i have lots n lots police stories most turn out ok & funny & verry little turn out shitty.
but the cops that used to pull me over in my old neighbourhood thay drive up to me ( i get scared im going to get pulled over)but thay just now pull up n wave at me and keep going.which is kinda kool .
i guess now thay know im not out to race cause im in a nice car like fast n furious im just out for a calm slow long drive in my car.

oh what about may 28 ,2011 i got pulled over asked why is therte not a RHD on my ownership ..LMFAO if cops are going to ask stupid questions and trying to inforce them ,maybe thay should know what the hell thay are talking about b4 thay get all gun-hoe and acting like a hard ass thay just make the good cops look dumb to.

1- no rhd sticker -like i said b4 i HAVE turn lights i dont need rhd sticker & if i did need one shouldnt the MTO have give me one when i plated/sticker my car .knowing its rhd?
2- need rhd on my ownership -?? what the hell .i asked mto & ins about this and thay laughed and said never her of this b4.
3- thay smelled weed in my car thay said i was like nope so thay riped me out of it just to have me sit on grass for 1hour just to find out the smell was a tree air freshener that was peach flavor in my doors .

so this is why i wanna set up 4 cams & a mic in my car .then ppl can see that the cops dont Serve and Protect thay just flex ther shit thinking there above the law & full of them selves .which ant right
in oshawa i see cops are nuts nothing like toronto.everyday here i see cops with lights on to go thru lights then turn off there lights once thru(illeagle)
speeding like 70 -80km in a 50km zone trying to catch up to ppl to run plates(illeagle)

im driving down street slowly a cop will pass on outher side of road.he see's me BUSTS a illeagle u turn (no signals) probly cutting off outher ppl behnd me to do it to .SPEEDS up to me doging traffic (illeagle) just to run a plate & when thay runing youplate here thay drive right on my ass like in worried about my paint thay look that close to me.which would be lailgating (illeagle) all this cause i was driving normal & quitly as i can.& all i might get out of all this is a warning or maybe muffler ticket .???????
& this is just 1 short story out of my book. least police in toronto dont do shit unless your really doing somthing ileagle.not just cause thay saw a nice car.

yea i have never heard of that rhd crap before , the only thing that might be right is the sticker , but i duno i have only seen that sticker on a couple cars ever so..

it would be ok thay will just add fuel to my case "harassment" the coppers will love me when i install cams & mic to show just how respectfull thay are to me & all i was doing was nothing. ie telling me to get out of car for no reason & putting his hand inside to try n unlock & open my car door while "ASKING me to get out" kinda rough dont you think.
oh and the 28 muffler tickets thay say i had last year that all got droped .ummm shouldnt that tell them somthing.

As of current based on the section of the HTA you quoted, you don't need the RHD Sticker/Label, however its not uncommon to be hassled about it.
