No Winter Maintenance Rally - October 1st 2011

Its already too late for me, Ive already made other plans.

alright had the car apart yesturday fine tuning making sure my suspensions in order, picked up some mud flaps as well and will put em on today other then that im all ready

so we got 2 cars from tts im interested to see what other clubs will be attending this event

members of the TSC Toronto Subaru Club will be there. But I don't think many like to get dirty

Can't wait. Tonight gotta do some last minute checks as well.

haha ya i think the thought of "dirt road" that scared most people away but i drive all year round and my cottage has a lot of roads like this so i have just as much chance getting a stone chip or scratch there as i do in this event

Yeah flaps should help and Plasti Dip do the rest if I get time.

Don't forget snacks and drinks, Warm cloths cause its gonna be a bit cold and maybe some rain. Stop watch etc and clip board nothing that might decapitate you though.

Tighen you lug nuts and ensure lights etc are in good working order. At least thats my list so far. Figured I 'd share in case. Spare tire and lock nuts if you need them. I totally forot i need it in case I blow a tire woudl be stuck a looong way away with no spare access.

snacks and drinks are a very good idea! i am also bringing coolant and oil and some basic tools just to be safe

Secure them in the trunk well get a good box or netting to ensure they aren't flying all over the trunk.

Sooo looong ass day. J-Mack and his Navi and my Navi and I had a great time.

NOt a lot of photos too busy keeping it on the road and stuff. My Navi and I brought home the Cool Competitor Award. Better then 1st place as far as we were concerned.

Posted some mud pics on the TTS FB site. I thought I had enough time to post along the way. Really needed some Go-Pro's would have been wild. After a really" fun turn. Had a blue Subaru drifting behind me in my mirror was wild.

i will try to post my pics up later, but between my navi trying to figure out directions and me trying not to drive off road it was next to impossible to film anything in car with out a go pro haha im sooo doing it again!

Good times just have to remember to completely close the sun roof before "caution deep puddle" it took 10 minute for us to stop laughing.

I really wanted to come to this but due to an emergency couldnt make it. Next year.. pics look cool!
