VTECDUDE ' S Garage/History!

So, at the recommendation of another member I've decided to create my garage thread to show everyone a little about me and what I've done! All the pics I post will have to be on separate posts as I have no clue how to put multiple pics in one post! Damn noobs ! So pls bear with me!

So my car passion started a few years back and it started with an ek civic sedan! I've always done all my own work and learned pretty much everything on this car! As you can see from the pic I have 4 beautiful children which means not so big a budget for cars so I do my best!

Here's a pic of the motor I put together! It was an lsvtec! I was very proud at the time, I did all the research and got her running beautifully which was very satisfying! Sorry for the pic quality!

Had a lot of fun on that one so I picked this up a couple years later for $200 at a garage sale

I picked up this b16 which I cleaned up and painted!

Added some of this!

Had to do the lightened flywheel

I also had a stage 1 every clutch and pressure plate, mated with a very clean b16 tranny!

Here's a pic of it installed, she ran great! This unfortunately was as far as I got with this build as I lost my license for 6 months so I sold it! :(

After I got my license back I went and bought this car! I had only played with a few visual mods and exhaust as German engineering is a wee bit different! Lol

So although I loved the audi for driving it unfortunately started to become a money pit and everything for that car cost a small fortune! Decided to cut her loose and picked up a 2014 civic si 2 weeks ago!

So this weekend I did the first little mod, I put on a poor man's lip! And before anybody starts hating it's just temporary until I find a proper lip that I like! Just really wanted to do something to it !
I have to admit tho, I think it looks pretty cool!

So that's my history in a nutshell! Hope I haven't bored everyone to death! I will post more pics here as I do things to the new ride!

How you like the new si so far? Whats the specs on them now?

So far I love it! It's a 2.4l and for the 14 model they squeezed an extra 4 hp by changing the exhaust setup! I've not tested it's capability fully yet but the stock suspension is a far cry from the audi but that's fixable! I can't wait to test her on the 1/4 mile stock with u guys at the shannonville test n tune to see how she measures up!

So, decided to tint the rear lenses and black out the chrome on the rear end today!

Here's how she sits! Gotta love the cheap easy mods!

sweet. I love that rear end. I hated them at first, but they've really grown on me
