Re: The Derty Lancer 2008 GTS 2.0L
PICS PICS PICS!! hehe
I can't say much for anything else ... RRM stuff looks pretty good, but I hear their pulley isn't balanced. There are two other pulleys I've seen on the market, similar price, one is properly balanced, don't recall if the other one is or not. Also can't remember the brand ... but if I come across it again, I'll let you know.
I think though ... can't go wrong w/ headers, and exhaust is up there on my list of priority mods.

Re: The Derty Lancer 2008 GTS 2.0L
where did u hear that? i have it and its fine ,
like i told u before rrm timing module/piggy is a good combo along with the pulley
intake is a personal preference
exhaust go to gt custom exhaust period

short shifter twm forsure , and they are cdn so shipping is cheap

Re: The Derty Lancer 2008 GTS 2.0L
Well I'm deciding to paint my oem rims gloss black myself. If and only if I can find a nice spot to do it. I've done my research and I've painted my rotors , calipers , and rims on my old school CRX and my Accord so Im gonna giver. Since it's only these rims and need to save some money for real rims. Any suggestions or tips on products. I'm going with dupicolor caliper/ engine block paint as it's the most durable with a couple coats of clear for added protection.

Re: The Derty Lancer 2008 GTS 2.0L
^^ use rim paint , that will be the most durable , thats what i used and it held up good, it came off a bit around the lip of the rim cuz i sanded the rim to much there and spun off the track into the grass and dirt , i even use the rim paint on my girll to and its holding up good to the dirt etc..
Re: The Derty Lancer 2008 GTS 2.0L

Re: The Derty Lancer 2008 GTS 2.0L
I think I read way back when, some people use plasti-dip on their rims due to its durability and even finish. Only thing is ... it's not glossy.
I'm also thinking of rattle-canning my rims. I'd like to see how your rims turn out.

Re: The Derty Lancer 2008 GTS 2.0L
Ya for sure we'll see how it's goes have no good place to do this plus my car is on grass so it's fucking whack. Just pulled out front and rear pillars to paint gonna do the side and top in better weather. I thought I'd try I'm pretty good with detail and make shit so watch some videos and get some tips and do it my self at least if it's shit can't blame anyone lol

How do you remove the C-Pillars? I'm thinking of di-noc wrapping them too.
Eventually I'll try to get the B-Pillars wrapped as well.

Re: The Derty Lancer 2008 GTS 2.0L
all the pillars are pretty simple to remove , i had to take em all off to take my headliner out , they all snap off after you take the screws out

where is the unbalanced pully coming from?
i have it and it works just fine , you do sacrifice some top end for bottom end tho

Re: The Derty Lancer 2008 GTS 2.0L
Is it one specifically made for the Lancer? I had a custom exhaust with the Vibrant TPV muffler, and that bitch was loud! If you want solid deep tone, Magnaflow/Borla/Greddy Ti-C axle-back.

Read it on evom in a post about RRM vs OBX ... looks like there was an RRM V2 Pulley as well. (V1 apparently wore down and caused oil leak?) There's also a pulley by RPW.
Some guy said the RRM pulley will work fine but over time it'll cause damage. It's just a forum posting though with no proof or anything so I'm sure its fine.
Also w/ the Lancer, it needs low end performance soooooo badly!
