Not sure how the leveling motor works, of if there is one ... but pair of SSS replicas for under $350, shipped. (Not including D2S HID kit).
Wish I had known about these before I started my project ... also, you don't have to send in your own headlights.

That's the one ... was thinking of using that for a new retrofit, but ... that won't be for a while.
Non-pic update:
Had to rethink projector in highbeam housing. It's a pretty shallow reflector bowl to work with, but I think I've figure out what to do. Should actually look better. Using a pair of gattling shrouds I had picked up some time back, no cutoff shield, but it'll still be terminator style. Shrouds are not in the best shape, but I should be able to work with them.

Re: Juice's HID Retrofit Project
Hardly ... worked yesterday (I'm on US holiday schedule) ... Saturday and Sunday were pretty much write-offs ... did nothing. :(
Did some brainstorming last night while smoking during the actual storm ... figured out how to do the inner projector.

Re: Juice's HID Retrofit Project
... ya, this is how they pretty much sent me one of the CCFLs.
right angle connector on only one of the eight CCFLs I purchased, and of course, its the only one I'm having troubles with. Koi offered to help me tonight, if not, Larry offered to help me on Weds at KC. TTS fam is awesome as always!!
Once this is fixed, I'll be lightly tinting ccfls, then everything gets glued together. Then just waiting on some parts in the mail and first headlight will be done.
Shouldn't take too long to piece together other headlights ... painting will probably take up most of the time.
