Re: VIP Status Altima
Coils are installed! ! Set to a mild drop(due to an ice median that I have to drive ontop of on my block) Im going to play around with the set-up with my rims on while i'm at work, and dump her down for the show.
1st thoughts: The ride is stiffasfuck! And the handling is GREATLY improved, takes tight corners with ease even with the winters on. Definatly going to have to get used to feeling every single bump in the road, even the invisible ones that still make you bounce in your seat.

I got the Tein Super Streets for $1300, the Tein basics are the more affordable ones but are still on the higher end when it comes to coils. BC Racing is the most bang for your buck coilover system, but then again if your not tracking springs+aftermarket shocks may best.

Dropped the front MOAR! I was backing into my driveway, and suddendly I heard Clink! Scrrrrrrraaaaaaappppe! I never knew my driveway had a hump like that before? Ride height is going back up Tuesday. :( I need also found out I need a front lip in order to look slammed, as my flex-pipe is soo close to the ground but my front bumper is not.

Re: VIP Status Altima
After this pic I did wash her, and the front is lower once it was off the hoist for a few min. I will take driveway pics today of her all cleaned up and the actual height after some settling. It's looking HELLA-DUMPED in my driveway right now.

Re: VIP Status Altima
I was bored and decided to take pics right away.
Remember what I said about my flex-pipe, well it's less than an inch off the ground now. I guess it settled-in more than I thought it would, and it still may settle MOAR! I still need 20's to make it sit flush in the front fenders, STUPID NISSAN MAKING THE FRONT FENDERS LARGER THAN THE REARS for some Tarded reason!
^I like this shot as it shows the coils+reduced gap+drilled rotors. If you look at the coils between the gold and the first green at the bottom is how much it was dropped in the rear, hence the need for bigger rims to close the gap in the fenders.

Re: VIP Status Altima
Im trying to not drive the car until it's back up a lil, as I don't have the money for flex-pipe replacements this moment. Last night I made the mistake of trying to take a short-cut that goes over some train tracks...My frame took a nice hit even on a SERIOUS angle! :pale:

I cringed ... then cried ... then you pulled back up the driveway and ... omg ... yes, raise that just a bit. :(
Actually ... better idea ... fix your driveway.
