Re: Altima Coupe 3.5
thanks, but i think some of Maliks customers were worried for me b/c they were watching me take a pic of the damn thing.
btw, 3rd PCV valve put in...(only like 7 bucks)....and it broke again - Malik said he's never seen anything like that happen to a car....so i'm thinkin of asking Mitsubishi

Re: Altima Coupe 3.5
^^Sounds like an underlying issue to me, and the PCV will keep failing until that issue is found.

Re: Altima Coupe 3.5
na, the using LC in the new models are now 'Warranty safe'
completely stupid for having options if used...will void warranty
(crap i've veered us off topic by a mile)...umm I installed fog lights I found in my cousins garage, brand new. There we go, on topic

Re: Altima Coupe 3.5
i swear they got rid of the launch control , they only had it for the first year
Re: Altima Coupe 3.5
Well they might as well have - they made the launch control 'as safe as possible' for the car.
If i had the money... as mostrous as it looks and performs, i wouldn't buy the GTR

Re: Altima Coupe 3.5
its too....controlled and perfect, - but provided i had the money to get some smart guys to break the encryption on the cars ECU and unlock it completely and replace the transmission b/c it dies fast - it would certainly be on my list - maybe the Spec-V
even then....it would feel so much more rewarding to buy an older car and work it up to perfection than buy a car thats already got most of what it needs

Re: Altima Coupe 3.5
LOL I don't know...the car that I have really done up gets driven like an old lady! Haha I've got waaaaay too much money in it to take any chances. I think a lot of people with nice cars feel that way. Plus, the only person who thinks I'm cool when I'm driving like a fucktard is me hahah
Glad to hear you got the car semi-sorted out. That PCV valve thing is weird tho. Are you using OEM parts?

Re: Altima Coupe 3.5
Lol well there was a time when I thought i was 'the shit' driving my old EF civic sedan -_-....and now i realize how much of a fucktard I was with it =P
I can imagine myself being that safe with a car thats been heavily invested in. But when it comes to a car pushing the 'supercar' boundary, the only reason someone should buy that car is to go fast - not to just show it off like a tool and then drive it like my dad (my dad = you see seasons change whilst in his car). Basically when i picture someone who deserves to buy a supercar, I see one of the idiots on Top Gear - or someone like em
haha but im sure there'r flaws in my opinion up there - i haven't got my brain started up yet

When I was in California for a vacation I rented a Diable ( $300 for the day because I was friends with the owner ) And I'll tell you, I was ALWAYS under the speed limit, drove it like I just drove it off the lot.
Soon as I arrived at the track.. It was different and that I'd give it, but not to the point where I was out of control.. Yeah the rear end slipped out of line (. a few times on purpose .) But on the street I couldn't count the number of times I'd pass a cop, and they would follow.. Right onto the highway and then you'd see more and more..
Having a supercar like that is asking to be watched, and if you did "just tear shit up" they'd be right there to do it.
I think that is why all the fast cars are passed by mini vans..

Re: Altima Coupe 3.5
i unfortunately, i am an idiot and presumably still might be one behind the wheel of a supercar - but what you say is right. - And $300 a day for a Diablo is amazing, must've been a nice experience

Re: Altima Coupe 3.5
^ do it! you will have to make sure always that the skyline is running well. they do require reg maintenance; just as any other old sports car. it will fork out a lot more power than ur eclipse can ever put out. do consider RHD as your daily driver.

Re: Altima Coupe 3.5
Yeah... theres an R32 for sale like 50 meters away from Maliks garage, so maybe sometime i'll get him to check that skyline out.
I feel bad for selling my cousins car but, it doesn't seem like much happiness comes from it anymore compared to when it was his'n when he was driving it. But if I can afford it, I'm gunna try to keep it within the family
